On Saturday. October 4, three former PDCI basketall stars played at Carleton University in a pre-season exhibiton contest. Brandon Leonard and Ross Carter represented the St. Lawrence College Vikings and Derek McConnery represented the Carleton University Ravens. All three saw significant court time in a 112 - 77 Carleton victory.

Carter and Leonard were on the 2003 PDCI senior boys EOSSAA championship team that coincidently defeated Earnestown Secondary School featuring current All-Canadian and Carleton star, Aaron Doornekamp. McConnery and Leonard played together on the 2005 Blue Devil squad that won EOSSAA and was ranked sixth at the Ontario championships (OFSAA). All three players were a significant part of Perth Tigers Basketball as players and coaches. Also shown in the picture is their former coach, Kevin Bellamy, and present Tigers Basketball participants Ben and Will Bellamy.
